Screening aims to apply a simple test to determine whether a patient has a health condition- like Amblyopia. Whether a screening test is helpful can be determined by 10-points published by the World Health Organization- but also whether the screening test is VALID.

ABCD has developed an Excel spread sheet with a 3x3 contingency table to help calculate validation statistics like SENSITIVITY and SPECIFICITY including whether the screening test was INCONCLUSIVE or whether any of the screened individuals were LOST-TO-FOLLOWUP. 2/2015
